Depending on your type of installation, you can determine what grommets will accommodate your installation. The variety of grommets available vary between rolled- rim, self-piercing, and sheet metal grommets. These are available in many sizes and colors. The difference between eyelets and grommets is pretty precise.  The flange diameter and hole size tends to be a larger in grommets then eyelets, allowing their larger flanges to grip more surface area on the material into which they are set. This makes a grommet a stronger fastener compared to an eyelet. Choosing between an eyelet and a grommet depends on the individual application.

The difference between the two types of grommets, is that self-piercing does not require a pre punched hole on most material and has the capability to pierce through certain materials. The heavier gauge on the brass of the self-piercing grommet is specifically made to punch through the material while the traditional sheet metal grommet requires you to pre-punch the holes prior to installation. The diameters vary between the two types of grommets giving each its own uniqueness. Sheet metal grommets are available with plain, teeth and neck washers. Depending on your application such as Lycra or stretchy spandex materials require teeth washers to avoid from the grommet dislodging from the material after installation. The neck washers are recommended to be used on fully automatic machines to avoid from the washers overlapping while travelling down the channeling of the fully automatic machine.

We have 5 color options available in or self-piercing grommets and a wider range color option for our curtain grommets. Our self-piercing grommets are available in brass, nickel, antique brass, black and white finishes. Each of our unique finishes to our curtain grommets are available on our webpage under our curtain grommet selection within the browse category. Many products can be order directly from our online store with no minimal purchase  requirement. Bulk discount are available which we will be discussing this upon your quotation request. Customized orders do require a purchase minimum. Please contact us for additional information.

The requirements to set up a NET30 account with Micron goes through and application process. The minimal purchase order requirements are $1000, with some exclusions. Public schools & Governmental facilities do not require to meet a minimal purchase or nor have to go through an application process. Terms are NET 30 days from date of shipment on approved accounts. A 2% per month service charge will be applied to past due balances.
There will be a $50.00 charge for returned check. American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover are accepted. A $40.00 service fee does apply on wire transfers. Any direct ship orders will be charged a $15.00 handling fee.
Customer is responsible on freight charges for any returned or refused packages. Orders placed before 3 pm on in stock items are shipped the same day. Micron Group Inc. is not responsible on any typo errors within the website or published information.

Once the order has been placed and processed, cancelling or changing the order is not accepted.
